You didn’t think I was gone for good, did you? Hey, I have to work, too. My job is such that is fluctuates from semi-organized chaos to blissful tranquility (with nothing in between) and the past few weeks have been the former.
In what will undoubtedly be remembered by perceptive types as one of the slimiest political moves in the history of Sacramento politics, holdout councilperson Kevin “Forest Gump” McCarty (oh come on, I kid the McCarty!), FINALLY announced his “endorsement” of Heather Fargo on the steps of city hall today.

SACRAMENTO, CA - In 1864 the union army attacked a confederate regiment named “Hood’s Corps” (after General John Bell Hood). In this particular battle, Hood’s regiment prevailed, despite several attempts on the part of the union to dislodge them. The landmark pictured at left marks the location where the battles occurred, and Hood’s victories remain a point of pride among many southerners.
