The Bee ran an article about how hospitals are creating “meditation rooms” for staff and visitors–and converting chapels because–gulp–the word “chapel” invokes thoughts of that old antiquated geezer in the sky: that old crusty God guy. Specifically “Some hospitals don’t call the rooms chapels because that label invokes the Judeo-Christian tradition..” Yeah.
God forbid we preserve a tradition in this “progressive” age. I shiver at the thought of it!
Kaiser sees their Deepak Choprah approved rooms as ” a chance to put into action one of [their] key values – diversity.”
Well gosh, that’s really thoughtful of you, Kaiser. Thanks for helping push that annoying God guy a little further out of our country. I mean, He is the one– after all–who blessed it and made it so fruitful, but who needs the old sea parter, right? Certainly not us diversity-driven citizens of the new millennium!
Bee writer Jennifer Garza alludes to “the evolving view of medicine that the body and soul can heal together” as even more reason to provide the politically correct meditation rooms to staff and patients. Hilarious. Isn’t that like saying “Dr. Smith is our best surgeon and we love his work, so let’s fire him and redecorate his office.” ??
I guess these hospital administrators have nothing better to do than sit around and dream up ways to be more politically correct…. with OUR money.

It’s very ridiculous all of this P.C. Garbage…. People need to get over themselves, and the far left needs to do something positive for this country instead of running their mouths and stripping away our freedoms. Look what happened to Rome, divide and conquer……. Look at all of the socialist countries…FAILED…. We need to keep America safe, secure, and FREE… The “you hurt my feelings, I’ll sue you” attitude is not American, it’s more like the ” I’m a pussy” attitude… Get over yourselves and know that all people here are free to think, feel, and say what they want…. People say and do things that I don’t like every day, but their opion is there’s, I don’t get butthurt… People have died for our right to be free, and it seems like politics and feelings are getting in the way of most peoples freedoms… Get over yourselves, and enjoy it while we all still have it….FREEDOM.
