Wayman Tisdale dies cancer nba

One of the coolest guys I ever met. A Godly family man, a great musician, and a superlative athlete. God has taken back one of his very finest works. I guess that’s his prerogative. May he rest in peace. Thanks for the memories Tiz

  1. Awww, I’m sad for everyone who knew him :( He sounds like he was a stand-up guy. May he rest in peace.

  2. Very sad day for the NBA, Kings Fans and music fans everywhere. Wayman Tisdale was a great college basketball player as well. Very fond memories of watching the Kings with Tisdale.

  3. Yeah that man could play the game.. was so effortless too. Was one of my fav college players. A true inspiration to me as both athlete and musician. Being a huge Norman Brown and Tisdale fan I was really looking forward to their collaboration. That would have been awesome. They were touring and everything…. http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/2568532/. This is just terrible.

  4. Mayor Johnson’s press release:

Mayor Johnson Extends His Condolences to the Family of Wayman Tisdale

SACRAMENTO – Mayor Johnson expressed his sadness upon learning of Wayman Tisdale’s death
    earlier today.

Mayor Johnson and Mr. Tisdale met as teammates on the Phoenix Suns in the 1990s and had remained
    close friends in years since.

“For three seasons, all of us affiliated with Suns organization were touched by Wayman’s magnetic
personality, gracious spirit, and electric smile,” remarked Mayor Johnson. “For those of us who
spent time on the road together and suited up with him everyday, we were truly blessed. Wayman was
the perfect teammate and consummate professional who left his indelible mark wherever he went.”

“Just recently, Wayman tried to bend over backwards to help me celebrate my swearing-in as the
Mayor of Sacramento. Even though we couldn’t work it out, in typical Wayman fashion, he was ready
    to help wherever needed.”

“My heart goes out to his family and friends. He will be missed.”
