Sacramento Police swarming Natomas at all hours, but so are troublemakers

The good news is that Sac PD is out in force in Natomas where they are clearly needed, and responding to calls in record time as this report reflects. It only took them 3 minutes to get to Natomas Park Place (where the Jamba Juice robbery I reported about last week took place) to field a call about a mob of–presumably–kids fighting and shooting at each other.

This just in from the Sacramento Police Department, North Patrol.

(224822) 7/12/08 @2:12 am, 4630 Natomas Blvd (Tuk Tuk Restuarant), North Natomas
We received a call of 30-40 subjects fighting and about 5 gunshots heard at the Tuk Tuk Restuarant at 2:12 am.  Officers responded with their lights/sirens and got there in 3 minutes.  Most of the people were gone when officers arrived and there were no victims left on scene.

So props to the PD for keeping patrols in our area.

Now the bad news. I want to take this opportunity to remind everyone that Heather Fargo recently stated “residents should feel safe” in response to concerns about public safety issues.

“30 to 40 subjects.”

I’m thinking they were youths. Maybe not though, right? Maybe they were college kids. Hmm.

2:00am.

Time to talk about that curfew. Elk Grove has a curfew and Natomas doesn’t. Not going to work. Let’s go. Git ‘er done.

Let’s see your focus on public safety Fargo.

  1. Can someone explain how entertainment permits are granted for these establishments, it appears that the food and service were poor and now they resort to creating gansta night clubs, Center Court, Oshima and now Tuk Tuk, maybe the curfew is the way to protect the community. Are the police and Tretheway brainstorming, or do they want to let the community slip further into the abyss of crime and malfeasance.

  2. I was wondering the same thing. I have fired off another email to the Fargo/Tretheway black holes posing as email addresses.

  3. ok, some of those Fade videos you wrote about last week were filmed in the same shopping center…how in the world can that many doofs gather in one place without people calling the cops (I’m talking about the youtube fights…no one in the shopping center thought those kids fighting was a problem?)

  4. I know it’s INSANE. More have been posted this week. I am told people do not want them exposed because they fear it would “glamorize” them… like are wacky blogs are on par with 20/20 or something.

  5. I frickin love the Joe Sac comment from July 14th characterizing Fargo/Tretheway’s black holes posing as e-mail addresses…reality and humor all rolled up together in one complete sentence. This is my first visit to your website and restassurred, it will be a daily routine of mine going forward. As a resident of initially South Natomas and for the past 8 years as a homeowner in North Natomas, I am completely fed up with the Fargo and Tretheway’s rising to their level of incompetence. From HORRIBLE schools courtesy of Natomas USD, to insufficient law enforcement and poor community planning, Natomas was set up for failure. Community planning is NOT rocket science. Hmmm, let me think about this for a second, mandate low-income housing that BREEDS criminal activity, bus in retarded gangbangers from South Natomas to North Natomas to spread their criminal networks in middle schools and high schools, plan Big Box stores a block away from private neighborhoods occupied by million dollar homes and the who’s who of Sacramento, or better yet, creation of a homeless camp 50 yards away from aforementioned neighborhood of million dollar homes. The list goes on….

  6. Gmoney… welcome… bout time :) Glad to have you.
