Per Captain Hahn of the Sacramento Police Department on 6/26/08 emailed us to advise the PD is going to hold a town hall meeting with residents to discuss the recent rash of home invasion robberies plaguing the Natomas area.
Capt. Daniel Hahn wrote: “I wanted to get this information to you as soon as possible. The Natomas (both North and South) community/neighborhood associations and the Police Department will be hosting a community meeting on Monday at 6:30 pm regarding the recent rash of Home Invasion robberies and street robberies.
We do not have a location confirmed as of yet, but wanted to let you know the date/time so you could put it on your calendars. This is a very important meeting where we will provide details on these crimes, update you on the progress of our investigations, and provide safety tips to residents.
I look forward to seeing you there and please invite your communities - Together we will put an end to these very serious crimes.”
Update @ 7:14pm PST: Town hall meeting to be held at Inderkum High School Theatre Monday at 6:30pm. Hosted by Fargo and Tretheway (which is good news because both of them have played a huge role in ensuring North Natomas is packed to its rafters with low income and high density housing and should have to answer for the lack of appropriate police levels for the area).
