I originally started this site on my own volition as a rebuttal to the 447 smear campaign against Kevin Johnson, someone I believe to be a very good man with a very good heart who—by his own admission—used bad judgment at one point in his otherwise extraordinary career.
You can talk all the garbage you want about my site, but at the end of the day, the 447 Union (and their sneaky partners), likely spent well in excess of $150,000 to smear KJ’s character, whereas I spent $30 and reached just as many people simply focused on Heather Fargo’s record and nothing more.
As my rebuttal expanded, and my traffic grew, I also exposed more and more information about Heather Fargo, most notably:
- her conflicting/hypocritical/discriminatory/misleading statements
- her ruthless disposition cloaked behind a pokerface of cordiality
- her obsession with “greeening” the city
- her outrageous naivety about crime rate in the city
- her failure to answer my legit list of questions
- her shocking and irresponsible response to the Corp of Engineers AE flood zone designation for Natomas
- her constant flip-flopping on what her priorities actually are
- her brazen arrogance about her public record, even though it STINKS compared to the achievements of many other mayors in other cities
- her failure to reach out to Natomas residents after the flood designation, and in the face of horrifying crimes that have befell our community
- her excessive focus on creating an “urban lifestyle” downtown for the dating scene, while the rest of the city goes to hell in a handbasket
- her failure to partner with the police and get out IN the community and talk to at risk kids, their parents, the social workers, and work on problem resolution with them directly
- her misleading statements to the metro chamber about the budget
- her failure to curb the lopsided influx of low income housing that now defines North Natomas
- her failure to interview with the natomasbuzz.com
- her horrible attendance record
- a sky-high budget deficit while other cities like Elk Grove and Rancho have far bigger reserves
- her failure to respond to any email I ever sent to her office in the past 6 years
- her potential misuse of public funds for questionable trips around the world
- her lackluster leadership skills
- her dismal job in the execution of the North Natomas plan
- her abuse of her position to smear her political opponent
- her silence in the face of the worse character assassinations I have ever witnessed in an election
Kevin Johnson ran a clean, modest, professional campaign with absolutely NO smear whatsoever. He proved over and over why he is most fit to be the ambassador of our city. Fargo needs to retire. She’s old, arrogant, bitter, and hostile. There is no room for her in our city hall.
I WHOLEHEARTEDLY—And INDEPENDENTLY—endorse Kevin Johnson for mayor, and thank him for being so passionate about making our city one we can ALL be extremely proud of.

I think i once claimed you were just a shill for KJ, but I think you’ve shown yourself to be a well-reasoned independent voice, with just a slight bit of rage towards Fargo.
