Rejected! Sacramento police will not re-open investigation of ex NBA all star Johnson

In defiance of Sacramento Mayor Heather Fargo’s  wishes, Sacramento Police Chief Rick Braziel announced today he will NOT re-open a 16 year old young woman’s [retracted] “groping” allegation against Fargo’s arch political nemesis, former Phoenix Sun all star, Kevin Johnson.

A former teacher at Johnson’s St. Hope Charter High School had alleged in 2007 that the teen told him (during a camping field trip in Yosemite) that Johnson had touched her breast. When the young lady was questioned by police, she retracted her statement and the case was closed.

Sacramento Mayor Heather Fargo, whose embattled mayoral campaign continues to limp along despite the golf-ball-sized hail storm of criticism it has endured, reacted swiftly to the announcement, saying she “respected” the chief’s decision and “appreciated” the time he spent [away from REAL police work] to re-analyze the closed case.

  1. It’s hard to imagine Fargo being able to lead the pd effectively after this brouhaha
